Drive operational excellence as the Operations Manager in Bowmanville, Ontario, for St Marys Cement. Lead a dynamic team in maximizing production, quality, and safety within the cement manufacturing process.
As the Operations Manager, you will oversee the safe and efficient operation of the cement plant, guiding production managers and teams. Your focus will be on achieving production targets, maintaining quality specifications, and fostering continuous improvement initiatives. You'll play a critical role in optimizing plant performance and compliance within a diverse and impactful environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage all production activities in cement manufacturing
• Monitor key performance indicators for effectiveness
• Develop production plans aligned with customer demand
• Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field preferred
• 10 years of experience in heavy industrial manufacturing
• 5 years of leadership experience in cement production
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and regulations
• Proficient in SAP and advanced Excel skills
