Junior Technician

Position: Junior Technician at MDA Space
Location: Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue

Join MDA Space as a Junior Technician, where you will support cutting-edge space technology. Work under supervision to conduct testing and assembly on electronic equipment in a collaborative environment.

This continuing education role involves assisting experienced technicians in various tasks, such as aligning equipment and monitoring chambers. You will participate in simple assembly, modifications, and testing of electronic systems. Your initiative and adherence to defined procedures will be essential in driving project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Align and test production equipment following established guidelines

• Assist in setting up and checking test stands for equipment

• Support experienced technicians in ongoing projects

• Monitor thermal or vacuum chamber conditions

• Ensure compliance with internal safety procedures

Requirements:

• College diploma in engineering or a related field

• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience

• Bilingual in French and English for customer communication

• Ability to obtain required security clearance

• Willingness to learn and demonstrate initiative
