Flight Software Systems Engineer at MDA

In this role, you will lead the definition and implementation of embedded flight software for next-generation satellite programs. You'll craft FSW architecture, manage requirements, and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to address integration challenges. Your leadership will play a key role throughout the spacecraft life-cycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and manage flight software architecture and requirements

• Develop and validate FDIR algorithms for satellite readiness

• Communicate risks and technical findings to stakeholders

• Assist with flight software verification planning and testing

• Mentor team members while contributing to process improvements

Requirements:

• Sc. in Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, or related area

• 10+ years in satellite flight software systems engineering

• Knowledge of space industry communication protocols

• Proficient in real-time operating systems and embedded software

• Excellent communication skills, with French as a plus
