Test Operator - Opérateur​/Opératrice de test

Position Overview

dormakaba is seeking a Test Operator based in Montreal. The Test Operator is responsible for performing functional tests on boards using test jigs. The Test Operator will configure simple test setups based on instructions provided on test sheets. They will report quality-related observations and concerns to the appropriate personnel and flag recurring issues to the relevant operators and/or technicians.

Hourly Rate: $21.84 - $24.97/hour

• Set up and prepare test jigs for board testing
• Test PCBs using test jigs, following instructions established by the manufacturing engineering group
• Operate test equipment including oscilloscopes, multimeters, frequency counters, variable power supplies, and computers
• Read and interpret a variety of drawings and work instruction

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong manual dexterity and visual acuity
• Demonstrated proficiency in a variety of electronic assembly procedures
• Experience in assembly and soldering
• Working with computers and standard office/testing software

• The incumbent must work with a global multidisciplinary team
• Previous experience in a test or quality control role within an electronics manufacturing environ ment
• Familiarity with ESD (electrostatic discharge) handling procedures
• Ability to read and troubleshoot using electronic schematics or wiring diagrams

L'Opérateur/Opératrice de test est responsable d'effectuer des tests fonctionnels sur les cartes à l'aide de bancs de test.
