Senior Manager for Operational Excellence

Location: Montreal

Join CAE as a Senior Manager, Manufacturing Operations, where you will lead transformative initiatives to enhance production capabilities. Drive strategic and hands-on improvements in a diverse manufacturing environment.

As part of our manufacturing leadership team, you will oversee approximately 150 personnel and accelerate operational efficiencies through Lean principles.

Your role as a change agent will involve elevating performance metrics and team development to meet world-class standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct Lean transformation initiatives for operational improvements

• Challenge processes and promote standardization for efficiency

• Develop leadership skills within your management team

• Manage relationships and resolve labor challenges effectively

• Ensure effective use of manufacturing systems for better outputs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent

• 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role

• Strong familiarity with Lean manufacturing practices

• Knowledge of ERP and data-driven management

• Ability to lead multifaceted change initiatives
