Position: Edmonton Material Handler Role
Location: Montreal

Join Powell Canada as a Material Handler specializing in inventory control in Edmonton. Manage the flow of materials while ensuring compliance with safety protocols.

As part of the Electrical Division, you'll be responsible for loading, unloading, and organizing materials efficiently. The role requires a high school diploma and some experience (0-3 years) in a manufacturing environment, particularly with Switchgear units. Your capability to read measuring devices and prior mechanical knowledge will be beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute the physical movement of materials across production areas

• Ensure accurate picking and packing of parts for shipments

• Prepare materials for outgoing shipments with documentation

• Organize incoming materials for easy access

• Work collaboratively to ensure on-time delivery of materials

Requirements:

• Minimum education of a High School Diploma

• Up to 3 years experience in a relevant field

• Familiarity with mechanical components and tools

• Basic computer skills are advantageous

• Required to work at heights using appropriate equipment
