Solid Works expertise drives precise manufacturing drawings for a full-time Industrial Draftsman in Dorval, supporting telecommunication equipment production.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, this Industrial Draftsman creates production documentation within a manufacturing environment. The position focuses on 3D modeling, detailed drawings, CAD file generation, and technical support. Bilingual French and English communication is required.
Key Responsibilities:- Create and update Solid Works 3D models
- Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings for production
- Produce installation instructions and assembly guidelines
- Generate STEP, DXF, and standard CAD files
- Support production teams with technical questions
- Diploma in mechanical engineering or industrial drafting
- One to five years of similar manufacturing drafting experience
- Mandatory proficiency in Solid Works
- AutoCAD or ERP experience is an asset
- Bilingual French and English, written and spoken
