Your Role
As the Marketing Director, you will play a key role in defining the overall strategic marketing management for the Yoplait brand in the Canadian market. You will actively contribute to ensuring that portfolio performance is fully aligned with the bold and strategic growth ambitions of Yoplait Liberté Canada and its sub‑brands (volume, margin, market share), while ensuring the effectiveness of campaigns and promotional activities.
The Marketing Director leads the development of long‑term marketing innovation strategies, oversees team capability development, and drives the optimization of commercial performance. We are seeking an experienced leader who can combine strategic vision with excellence in execution, with proven skills in team leadership and engagement, fully aligned with our values.
This position is based at our downtown Montréal office in a hybrid work model.
What You Will Do
• Lead and inspire a team of marketing professionals, coaching brand managers and their teams (5 people) to maximize performance and engagement
• Design, articulate, and implement the brand vision, strategy, and all marketing elements for Yoplait Canada in alignment with the company’s growth and profitability objectives
• Successfully lead turnaround projects, accelerated growth initiatives, or major brand transformations, while driving marketing innovation initiatives that deliver tangible results
• Identify and prioritize strategic development opportunities through product innovation, brand development, evolving consumer trends, and competitive dynamics
• Oversee the creation of integrated advertising campaigns (digital, social media, TV, events, and omnichannel) to strengthen brand awareness and sustainable growth
• Ensure the strength of Yoplait’s brand positioning across all communication channels, reinforcing differentiation and market impact
• Supervise the marketing and product innovation portfolio from concept to market launch, ensuring alignment with overall strategy
• Collaborate closely with R&D, production, and innovation teams to anticipate consumer needs and translate feedback into innovative, differentiating solutions
• Develop talent and build a strong succession pipeline by supporting skill development and structuring career paths
• Define and track key performance indicators (sales, market share, profitability) to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives
• Orchestrate the brand vision by aligning marketing actions and initiatives with Yoplait Canada’s growth priorities and ensuring corrective actions when needed
• Partner with sales, finance, production, and supply chain teams to ensure optimal execution of projects and initiatives
• Ensure all marketing activities comply with Canadian legal and regulatory requirements, including labeling and CFIA compliance
