Electronic Giving - 6-month Contract Full-Time
Contract Full Time Coordinator Ottawa, ON, CA
Salary Range: $25.98 To $31.63 Hourly
Job purpose
The Coordinator:
Electronic Giving is responsible for assisting in achieving the fundraising and online presence goals of the Ottawa Humane Society (OHS), focused on all channels of electronic giving and engagement.
duties and responsibilities
Ensure the accuracy of the OHS development database for online donations and campaigns
Prepare and process online donations and receipts and acknowledgements
Promote electronic giving opportunities inside and outside the OHS
Assist in the development of electronic giving, stewardship and engagement plans
Maintain records, develop queries, metrics, and tracking to measure program effectiveness
Maintain action tracks in Raiser’s Edge
Support donor recognition and stewardship plans and activities
Coordinate electronic giving assets
Support the activities of coworkers, volunteers, students and work placements and provide orientation and training as required
Be thoroughly familiar with pertinent legislation, regulations, guidelines, OHS policies, procedures, and collective agreement
Produce and maintain accurate reports, records, and files
Participate in supervision, evaluation, training and other meetings as required
Participate in the identification and evaluation of OHS program goals and objectives
Participate in professional development opportunities
Represent the OHS in a professional manner
Participate in public relations and promotional activities as required
qualifications
1 year’s experience in Raiser’s Edge, including queries, action tracks and reports
1 year’s experience in e-commerce or e-marketing platforms
Demonstrated experience with website development tools such as Word Press
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience in HTML language programming is an asset
A diploma or certificate in fundraising is an asset
Full professional proficiency in spoken and written English is required
working conditions/physical requirements
Employee may be required to work evening, holiday and weekend shifts
Employment is conditional upon maintaining confidentiality of OHS information
Employment is conditional upon the ability to work around all species of animals safely
