Join our team as Licensed Practical Nurse! Island Health is hiring experienced licensed practical nurses to join our team. About the Position
As a Licensed Practical Nurse with Island Health, you’ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality, patient‑centred care. Your clinical skills, leadership and compassion will make a direct impact on the wellbeing of the communities we serve.
We are hiring full‑time, part‑time and temporary nurses across Vancouver Island, including roles in:
Acute Care
Specialty Practice Areas (Emergency, Perinatal, etc.)
Long‑Term Care
Mental Health & Substance Use
Restorative Health / Rehabilitation

What you will need to apply
Current and active registration (or eligibility) with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) registrant.
Basic Life Support, Level
C.
At least two years of nursing experience.
If you’re coming from outside BC, our team will connect you with the resources you need for a smooth transition.

Competitive salary: $32.84 – $44.96 per hour plus applicable shift differentials.
