Location: Saint-Jérôme
Position Description The welcoming Le Verger residence is currently seeking a Personal Support Worker in Saint-Jérôme. This part‑time temporary position (26 hours per week, night shift 11:00 PM–7:00 AM and one weekend out of two) is a maternity leave replacement.
Role and General Responsibilities Adhere to standards and legislation in accordance with private seniors' home certification and the code of ethics
Answer call bells
Assist and/or accompany residents in getting around
Deliver messages to the nursing staff
Carry out health and hygienic care to residents, maintaining their dignity and integrity
Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents
Respond to all emergency situations
Report any noticeable changes in a resident's mental or physical health to the on‑call nurse
Experience and Qualifications Up‑to‑date CPR / AED training certificates
PDSB training
DEP or APRPA certification
Minimum of 1–2 years' experience in a similar position
Knowledge of senior living residences (asset)
Knowledge of Symo software (asset)
Effective communication skills
Law 90 training
