As part of a dedicated team, you will provide mental health services in a primary care setting. This is a full-time position for experienced nurses who want to work during the week without nights or weekends. You'll employ critical skills like crisis intervention and motivational interviewing to support your clients effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate mental health conditions using evidence-based practices
• Deliver group and individual therapy utilizing innovative techniques
• Formulate and execute tailored care plans
• Manage medication plans for inpatient and outpatient settings
• Design and offer life skills enhancement programs
Requirements:
• Three years' experience in mental health nursing
• Accredited nursing degree and license to practice in Ontario
• Proficient in English and French
• BLS certification is mandatory
Support and contribute to the care of military personnel with Bayshore Medical Personnel as a vital mental health resource.
