Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse; RPN

Position: Part-Time Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) - 7 AM to 1 PM
Job Overview  Wage per hour: $28.02 - $30.65. Cogir Senior Living manages retirement residences across the country and offers independent living, assisted living, and memory care. We are seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to provide compassionate, patient‑oriented nursing care to seniors.
Responsibilities   Provide planned, patient‑oriented, goal‑directed nursing care in accordance with provincial standards.
Build trusted relationships with residents, families, and the multidisciplinary team through continuous communication.
Implement and evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make changes as required.
Ensure resident clinical care assessments, care plans, and documentation are accurate, up to date, and communicate changes.
Teach, delegate, and direct unregulated care providers, providing coaching and mentorship.
Qualifications   Registered Practical Nurse in the applicable province.
Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge and experience working with seniors.
Preferred education and experience in gerontology, rehabilitation, community/complex/long‑term care.
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) and First Aid certification.
Current Vulnerable Sector Check (including Criminal Background Check) within six months, or willingness to obtain one.
Strong drive, respect, and understanding of the emotional and physical demands of the role.
Focus on teamwork, customer service, and ability to build trusted relationships.
Strong written and oral communication, critical thinking, organizational and time‑management skills.
Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office applications.
