In this role, RPNs provide goal-directed nursing services while adhering to provincial care standards. You’ll build trusted relationships with residents and their families, implementing and evaluating care plans effectively. Mentoring and guiding unregulated care providers will also be essential to your daily responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver patient-oriented nursing care following provincial standards
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to enhance communication
• Implement and assess care plans, making necessary adjustments
• Maintain accurate clinical assessments and documentation
• Coach and direct unregulated care providers effectively
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse
• Sound clinical knowledge and experience with seniors
• Education in gerontology or long-term care is an asset
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
