Become a Registered Practical Nurse at Southbridge Ottawa, where you’ll work full-time in a role dedicated to enhancing resident care during 12-hour shifts.
Your primary focus will be on medication administration, assessing resident conditions, and orchestrating care plans that reflect the highest nursing practices. You’ll also engage in critical decision-making and leadership throughout the care team, ensuring compliance with regulations and care excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer care as per nurses’ standards and policies
• Develop, implement, and review care plans for residents
• Lead and support nursing staff in daily care activities
• Monitor vital signs and respond to health changes
• Participate in training programs for new team members
Requirements:
• Certificate from the College of Nurses of Ontario required
• Must be registered or eligible for registration
• Current First Aid and BLS certification needed
• Knowledge of nursing practices and infection control is essential
• A negative vulnerable sector check within 6 months
