Position: Eastern Ontario Practical Nurse Needed

Carefor, a leading not-for-profit home care provider, seeks a Registered Practical Nurse committed to enhancing the lives of clients.

Your role will involve assessing client needs, documenting care, and collaborating with a healthcare team to ensure comprehensive support. Emphasize health teaching and individualized care plans to empower clients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather detailed client assessments and document accurately

• Select and implement nursing interventions from care plans

• Evaluate and report clients’ responses to care

• Collaborate with teams to keep care plans updated

• Utilize adult learning techniques for effective teaching

Requirements:

• Must be registered with the CNO

• Valid G2 or G driver’s license required

• High tech skills desirable, especially for IV procedures

• Excellent documentation and problem-solving skills

• Wound care experience preferred
