Become a vital part of the South-East Ottawa Community Health Centre as a full-time Registered Nurse for a 13-month maternity leave contract. Provide patient care, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and improve health outcomes in the community.
This Registered Nurse role is designed for a skilled healthcare professional to join our interdisciplinary team and contribute to integrated primary care. You will assess and treat patients, administer medications, and document care plans with precision. Your experience in community health will be essential in managing patient education and enhancing well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct patient care with treatment and education
• Administer medications and perform routine medical procedures
• Collaborate with team members on care plan development
• Accurately document encounters in electronic medical records
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
Requirements:
• Registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• 3-5 years nursing experience, preferably in community care
• Familiarity with medical software, preferably PSS
• Experience with culturally diverse populations
• Bilingual in English and French is preferred
Contribute to community health and provide compassionate care as a Registered Nurse at SEOCHC.
