What You Make a Difference As a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) you will provide planned, patient‑oriented, goal‑directed nursing care in accordance with provincial standards of care. You will be an integral part of our multidisciplinary team, building trusted relationships with residents, families and staff through continuous communication. You will implement and evaluate care plans, make adjustments as required, document accurately and guide unregulated care providers through coaching and mentorship.
Responsibilities Deliver patient‑oriented nursing care following provincial standards.
Build relationships with residents, families, and team members.
Implement, evaluate, and adjust care plans, ensuring up‑to‑date documentation.
Teach, delegate, and mentor unregulated care providers.
Qualifications Registered as a Registered Practical Nurse in the applicable province.
Demonstrated sound clinical knowledge and experience working with seniors.
Experience with unregulated care providers preferred.
Education/experience in gerontology, rehabilitation, community/complex/long‑term care considered an asset.
Strong drive, respect, teamwork, and customer‑service orientation.
Strong written and oral communication and critical thinking skills.
Organizational and time‑management skills.
Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office.
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification.
Current (within six months) Vulnerable Sector Check, including a Criminal Background Check or willingness to obtain one.
