At CHEO, you will be responsible for delivering quality nursing care, effectively employing the nursing process, and maintaining professional competence.
Your role will also include providing educational resources for families to optimize their health. Strong communication, interpersonal, and culturally sensitive skills are essential to excel in this position and make a positive impact.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients
• Use the nursing process to guide patient care initiatives
• Educate patients and families to maintain wellness
• Ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulations
• Maintain ongoing professional competence through development
Requirements:
• Current College of Nurses of Ontario Certification
• Minimum 2 years pediatric nursing experience
• Current CPR Certification
• Strong family-centered care skills
• Vulnerable Sector Check completion
