CHEO in Ottawa is seeking Canadian-educated Registered Nurses or Internationally Educated Nurses for its Nursing Graduate Guarantee Program. Throughout a 12-week orientation, you will receive mentoring while performing essential duties in patient care. This role is designed to promote effective integration of new nurses into the workforce.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support patient care under RN scope
• Participate in a structured 450-hour orientation
• Receive coaching and mentorship from experienced staff
• Execute vital signs, aseptic techniques, and safety protocols
• Facilitate effective communication with diverse patients
Requirements:
• Canadian-educated or internationally educated RN
• BCLS certification is essential
• Recent pediatric clinical placement preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willing to work various shifts including nights and weekends
