Obstetrical Registered Nurse

Position: Obstetrical Registered Nurse at The Ottawa Hospital

The Ottawa Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse with a minimum of three months birthing unit experience. This role requires current BCLS and NRP certifications alongside a sound knowledge of obstetrical nursing. You will play a key part in providing empathetic care while contributing to patient education and quality improvement efforts within a collaborative health care team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care for obstetrical patients and newborns

• Participate in patient teaching and education initiatives

• Collaborate with the health care team on patient plans

• Engage in continuous quality improvement activities

• Facilitate clinical research to enhance patient care

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Three months recent experience in a birthing unit

• BCLS and NRP certification

• Eligible to work in Canada
