Providence Care Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Practical Nurse to provide vital nursing services for patients with mental health needs. Engage directly with patients and collaborate with a dedicated clinical team to deliver care.
As a full-time RPN at Providence Care Hospital, you will support patients with mental health services while following the nursing process and collaborating with Registered Nurses.
Your role includes creating individualized care plans and overseeing complex care interventions, focusing on patient independence and wellness. This position requires expertise in acute psychiatric settings and current certification in CPR.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete nursing histories with comprehensive patient information
• Develop and document goal-oriented nursing care plans
• Manage interventions and observe patient outcomes
• Follow prescribed medical regimes accurately
• Reassess nursing plans based on set goals
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Recent experience in an acute psychiatric setting
• Current CPR certification
