Join Extendicare as the Assistant Director of Care (ADOC) at Tendercare Living Centre, a leading long-term care home. This full-time role emphasizes leadership in clinical excellence and compassionate resident care.

Reporting to the Director of Care, the ADOC brings a wealth of nursing experience to manage clinical areas and improve care quality. You will engage with staff, residents, and families, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Working closely with interdisciplinary teams, you will ensure compliance with all regulations while advocating for high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage clinical program areas per Extendicare’s Model of Care

• Develop and execute quality improvement initiatives

• Monitor compliance with regulatory standards

• Collaborate with care teams and community health partners

• Foster staff development through mentorship and training

Requirements:

• Three years as Registered Nurse in long-term care

• Leadership experience in health care settings

• Current CPR certification

• Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office

• Strong clinical and interpersonal skills
