Cogir Senior Living is seeking Registered Practical Nurses dedicated to providing exceptional care within their retirement residences. This role emphasizes patient-oriented nursing, making a real impact in residents' lives. Successful candidates will work closely with residents and teams, utilizing strong communication and clinical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver patient-oriented nursing care per provincial standards
• Build trusted relationships with residents and families
• Implement and evaluate care plans effectively
• Conduct clinical care assessments and maintain documentation
• Mentor and guide unregulated care providers with coaching
Requirements:
• Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse
• Solid clinical knowledge and experience with seniors
• Familiarity with gerontology or long-term care preferred
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification
• Recent Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain
