The Royal is hiring a Registered Practical Nurse for the Resource Team, where you will deliver essential nursing care across multiple hospital units. Applicants must have a diploma in Practical Nursing and be registered with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Your technical skills in patient assessment, medication administration, and patient interaction will be crucial in ensuring outstanding care delivery within the framework of nursing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Float among different units based on operational needs
• Conduct physical and mental health assessments
• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients
• Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
• Follow CNO Standards and relevant healthcare legislation
Requirements:
• Completion of recognized Diploma Program in Practical Nursing
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• CPR/AED Certification within the last 2 years
• Familiarity with MHA and relevant legislation
