As part of our Community Mental Health Program, you will bring your nursing skills to the forefront, working with individuals who require mental health and addiction support. You’ll collaborate with a specialized team, ensuring that nursing standards and legislation are upheld while engaging in continual professional development. Strong interpersonal skills are vital to address the complex needs of your clients effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Offer specialized nursing care in non-hospital environments
• Engage in educational consulting for community providers
• Assess mental health and addiction issues for clients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Uphold the standards of the College of Nurses of Ontario
Requirements:
• Valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Up to 3 months nursing experience
• Knowledge of psychiatric nursing practices
• Current CPR certification within the past year
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
