Casual Registered Nurse Long Term Care

Provide safe resident care as a Casual Registered Nurse at Age Care Mount Royal in Calgary, coordinating services and leading shift reports.

This RN collaborates with the Director of Care to meet individual resident needs within competency. The work applies nursing knowledge, judgment, and interpersonal attributes while supporting ethical professional services. The position promotes teamwork, resident safety, health awareness, and Age Care’s guiding principles.

• Coordinate nursing and other resident services
• Lead shift reports with the healthcare team
• Record significant changes in residents’ conditions
• Maintain charts according to policies and standards
• Review and process physician orders promptly

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Registration and good standing with the provincial registry
• Knowledge of geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing
• Background in activation, nursing, and personnel administration
• Knowledge of applicable nursing home legislation and standards
