Director of Care Long Term Care

Lead clinical care at Granite Ridge Community with nursing leadership and resident-centred practice. This new position reports to the Executive Director.
As Director of Care, you will guide clinical professionals and support compassionate care for residents and families. You will help the home operate efficiently while strengthening daily health and well-being. The role includes clinical programs, regulatory compliance, audits, and nursing team development.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead clinical professionals and collaborate with external care partners
Monitor care processes against individual resident care plans
Implement falls, wound, continence, and pain management programs
Coordinate RAI MDS, Nursing Rehab, and Restorative Care metrics
Support infection control monitoring, audits, supplies, and equipment
Requirements:
Bachelor of Nursing Science or equivalent post diploma education
Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses
Minimum one year Registered Nurse experience in Long Term Care
Two to three years managerial or supervisory healthcare experience
Vulnerable Sector Check and Canadian work eligibility required
