As an RPN with Sienna Senior Living, you will support residents’ health, safety, comfort, dignity, and overall well-being. The role emphasizes accurate assessments, individualized care plans, documentation, communication, and resident self-sufficiency. You will also guide unregulated care workers through training and education.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and administer prescribed medications and treatments safely
Complete assessments, RAPS, and individualized care plans
Document concerns, complaints, follow-ups, and resident information
Promote self-care, wellness, adaptation, and preventative health education
Guide, direct, train, and educate unregulated care workers
Requirements:
Current Ontario Registered Practical Nurse registration
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support Certificate
Current Medication Administration Certificate
Minimum one year geriatric nursing, healthcare, or rehabilitation experience
Vulnerable Sector Check and legal Canadian work eligibility
