Animal Care Attendant

Charles River is hiring a full-time Animal Care Attendant for their Senneville, Quebec site, where you will undergo full training. If you’re passionate about animal care and welfare, this is your chance to make a difference.

In this entry-level role, you’ll work with the Toxicology team to ensure animal protection and assist in important pre-clinical study processes. Training will be provided to equip you with the necessary skills focusing on animal welfare and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain overall cleanliness of animal environments

• Help technicians with their everyday tasks

• Handle and care for various animals

• Engage in social interactions and physical play

• Follow established protocols diligently

Requirements:

• At least a high school diploma or relevant experience

• AEP in Animal Care as an asset

• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting

• Strong adherence to instructions and teamwork

• Enthusiastic about learning in a lab context
