Become an integral part of McGill University as an Animal Care Attendant, where you'll ensure the welfare of various animals through diligent care and maintenance, based in Quebec. This engaging role emphasizes daily animal husbandry and health monitoring within a structured environment.

As an Animal Care Attendant, your primary responsibilities will include feeding and enriching animals, cleaning habitats, and reporting any health or behavior changes. You'll ensure compliance with Canadian Council on Animal Care standards and logistics related to receiving and shipping animals. Collaboration with the animal care supervisor and research staff will also enhance the care provided to our animals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Feed and maintain animal habitats daily

• Monitor and report animal health issues promptly

• Clean and sanitize animal enclosures and equipment

• Assist in receiving and shipping of various animal types

• Maintain accurate reports and logs as required

Requirements:

• High School Diploma with 6 months experience

• Knowledge of animal husbandry standards

• Strong communication skills in English

• Attention to detail in monitoring animal conditions
