Job Description:

Requirement/Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Materials, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in supplier quality or manufacturing quality.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems and non-conformance processes.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience:
  • Experience with supplier quality management and development.
  • Experience handling non-conformances, corrective actions, and root cause analysis.
  • Experience supporting production floor quality issues.
  • Experience working with internal and external suppliers.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Ensure correct failure recording and non-conformance documentation.
  • Submit supplier complaints and ensure proper containment actions are implemented internally and externally.
  • Ensure suppliers provide thorough root cause analysis for failures.
  • Monitor and verify implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Track parts disposition and corrective actions through MRB processes.
  • Ensure accurate recording of non-conformance and quality-related costs.
  • Analyze supplier failures to identify trends and recurring issues.
  • Participate in supplier quality meetings and performance reviews.
  • Provide supplier quality performance data for evaluations.
  • Drive reactive supplier quality improvements and escalate issues as required.
  • Support supplier development initiatives.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and supplier performance monitoring.
  • Provide support for supplier quality reporting.
  • Should Have:
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience collaborating with procurement and manufacturing teams.
  • Skills:
  • Supplier quality management.
  • Root cause analysis and corrective action methodologies.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications.

    Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
