Compensation Range:
Between $70,000 - $120,000 CDN annually

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will support the planning, execution, and optimization of goods and services acquisition activities. You play a key role in contract management, process improvement, and supporting strategic projects.

Essential Functions:

  • Manage competitive bids (RFPs) end-to-end: preparation, evaluation, and recommendations;
  • Negotiate and administer contracts (pricing, terms and conditions, timelines), issue executives summaries and obtain approvals;
  • Execute procurement activities while ensuring compliance with deadlines and requirements;
  • Issue and track purchase orders through to final payment;
  • Monitor supplier performance, compliance, renewals, and dispute resolution;
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives;
  • Advise and support internal stakeholders on procurement practices;
  • Contribute to project execution (facilities, services, installations);
  • Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Qualifications:

  • Relevant university degree with significant experience (6+ years) in procurement;
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain management;
  • Experience in contract negotiation and management;
  • Proficiency with MRP systems (SAP/Ariba an asset) and Microsoft Office;
  • Bilingual (French/English);
  • Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and teamwork.
  • Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance;
  • Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
