Compensation Range:
Between $70,000 - $120,000 CDN annually

Reporting to the Procurement Manager, you will support the planning, execution, and optimization of goods and services acquisition activities. You play a key role in contract management, process improvement, and supporting strategic projects.

Essential Functions:

Manage competitive bids (RFPs) end-to-end: preparation, evaluation, and recommendations;

Negotiate and administer contracts (pricing, terms and conditions, timelines), issue executives summaries and obtain approvals;

Execute procurement activities while ensuring compliance with deadlines and requirements;

Issue and track purchase orders through to final payment;

Monitor supplier performance, compliance, renewals, and dispute resolution;

Identify and implement process improvement initiatives;

Advise and support internal stakeholders on procurement practices;

Contribute to project execution (facilities, services, installations);

Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

Relevant university degree with significant experience (6+ years) in procurement;

Strong knowledge of supply chain management;

Experience in contract negotiation and management;

Proficiency with MRP systems (SAP/Ariba an asset) and Microsoft Office;

Bilingual (French/English);

Strong organizational skills, autonomy, and teamwork.

Eligibility Criteria:

Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;

Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance;

Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
