Overview  English and French language job description follows. The A220 commercial aircraft Programme is looking for 1 supply chain and quality manager to join our General Procurement team based in Mirabel (Québec, Canada), where you will work closely with Airbus Procurement team and the multi-functional teams (in Canada, USA and Europe).
You will be part of the General Procurement team and accountable to guarantee the full cradle-to-grave performance management of all aircraft-related strategic, risky and/or critical suppliers in your scope.

Your role as supply chain and quality manager will be to:
Manage suppliers risks
Participate in the selection of strategic suppliers with the MFT (by providing Supply Chain Management criteria/ranking for the selection report with assessment of shortlisted suppliers)
Implement Supplier Performances monitoring (OTD/OQD), Supplier Development (SQIP) and CID missions (Correct/Improve/Develop)

Responsibilities (Your challenges)  Supplier Control – 30%
Manage and perform all activities for Supplier Approval, qualification and surveillance.
Act as Quality Responsible for supplier control reviews, supplier approval and final qualification declaration.
Oversee supplier qualification and surveillance, including recovery actions as needed.
Maintain up-to-date supplier quality data and interface with aviation regulations; follow action plans and updates.
Ensure local quality and buyer activities impacting General Procurement are communicated and actioned.
Support CID missions with suppliers as part of improvement activities.
Manage periodic or exceptional reviews with Airbus organizations and stakeholders to assess supplier quality and compliance (including EN9100 references).
Supplier Selection – 30%
Apply GP Supply Chain Performance supplier selection process, evaluating suppliers for quality requirements and producing selection reports with rankings and risk analysis.
Coordinate with SCQM, POA/DOA control for aircraft-related activities to ensure compliance to regulatory requirements (e.g., EASA, TCCA).
Supplier Performance Management – 10%
Ensure On-Time Delivery (OTD) and On-Quality Delivery (OQD) performance indicators for sub-commodity suppliers.
Monitor delivery and quality performance; initiate corrective actions (CID) as needed.
Conduct performance reviews for high-risk/strategic suppliers and coordinate supplier assessments to evaluate capability.
Manage supplier action plans following assessments or remediation missions; contribute to strategic supplier segmentation.
Supplier Risk Management – 20%
Identify, assess and mitigate supplier risks with on-site capability assessments (ESCCA+).
Manage internal customer work package risks and prioritize mitigations via CID or SQIP.
Supplier Development and Improvement – 10%
Strengthen supplier relationships and develop continuous improvement plans or roadmaps.
Improve performance through action plans; support the GP Improvement program; liaise with other SCQM as needed.
Propose and launch improvement plans with suppliers to enhance performance or capability.
Your Profile   Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration or related field required; equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.
Typically five (5) years in Procurement, Quality, or related functions with increasing authority.
Fluency in French and English, written and spoken.
Ability to communicate across hierarchical levels and work in a multicultural environment.
Project Management Certification desirable;
Quality Certifications desirable.
