Location: Mirabel
Position Overview
We are looking for a Quality Supervisor to join the Quality team based in Mirabel, Quebec. The role focuses on ensuring quality and performance of the manufacturing operations within the A220 Commercial Aircraft program.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of 15-25 employees, ensuring compliance with quality procedures (QMS) and company values.
- Oversee non‑conformity management, driving corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Set, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to optimize team and process performance.
- Coach and develop team members’ skills to achieve short‑term and long‑term objectives.
- Coordinate workload and performance for unionised employees, maintaining high standards under tight deadlines.
- Document and standardise key processes, ensuring best practice sharing across the organization.
- Apply problem‑solving techniques and lean manufacturing principles to sustain improvement.
- Experience in the aerospace industry and/or quality management, combined with at least 5 years of manufacturing experience.
- Proven team‑management skills, with experience leading a unionised workforce.
- Strong leadership, judgement, flexibility, and the ability to work independently.
- Results‑oriented capability to meet tight deadlines, tolerance for pressure, and sense of urgency.
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency in French;
English is a plus. - Sound knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement principles.
