Laboratory Quality Control Chemist Position

Location: Montreal

Join our pharmaceutical team as a Laboratory Quality Control Chemist focused on testing raw materials and maintaining quality standards in the lab. This role requires precision and analytical skills.

You will support the QC Analyst by preparing testing reagents, conducting HPLC and GC tests, and managing inventory for laboratory supplies. The role emphasizes adherence to GMP procedures and active participation in audits and investigations to ensure product quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct analyses using various chromatography and testing techniques

• Prepare documentation for testing and quality assurance

• Manage inventory of testing supplies and reagents

• Support quality audits and maintain proper records

• Collaborate in resolving quality control issues and investigations

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science with a focus in chemistry or related field

• At least 1 year of experience in a pharmaceutical laboratory

• Knowledge of laboratory instruments and quality control principles

• Skills in using LIMs, Empower, and Excel

• Strong organizational and communication skills
