As a Laboratory Technician at Intertek, you will manage the analysis of materials using state-of-the-art methods and equipment. This role requires you to perform analyses on products like diesel, jet fuel, and aromatics, ensuring their quality through rigorous testing. You will also be responsible for maintaining equipment calibration and assisting in the training of new employees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and record incoming materials for laboratory testing

• Analyze samples using GC, GC-MS, and other equipment

• Prepare quality control specimens and standardize solutions

• Monitor supply needs and communicate requirements

• Document analyses in logs and achieve traceability

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent needed

• Knowledge of chemistry and analytical processes

• Able to work under pressure and long hours

• Strong communication skills with a diverse workforce

• Bilingual for effective client interactions
