Location: Montreal

Here’s a brief overview of the tasks and responsibilities you’ll have :

  • Develop, implement and ensure quality strategies for large or complex initiatives;
  • Collaborate with delivery teams and architectural consultants to integrate functional and non-functional quality requirements from the ideation stage;
  • Advise project management in the definition, implementation and interpretation of solution quality indicators;
  • Influence stakeholders to adopt best practices in quality assurance;
  • Coordinate quality specialists in the collection, analysis and interpretation of data required to support testing phases and implementation strategies;
  • Write the overall testing strategy and manage it;
  • Review and approve detailed quality and testing strategies for application teams;
  • Develop or perform technical proofreading of test cases and scripts;
  • Participate in quality review meetings;
  • Prepare the system testing schedule with relevant stakeholders;
  • Organize the preparation of environments and data necessary to run tests;
  • Follow up on test results with the teams involved;
  • Support specialists in defining scopes related to stories, releases, sprints, projects and tests;
  • Contribute to bug management and patch tracking;
  • Analyze risks, write required reports and make recommendations;
  • Prepare and recommend action plans to resolve situations encountered;
  • Perform manual and automated tests as required.
The profile you are looking for is as follows:
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline;
  • Have a minimum of eight years of relevant experience in quality assurance;
  • Experience in test automation;
  • Master quality assurance processes and the implementation of quality tools;
  • Knowledge of quality assurance tools such as Xray and Postman;
  • Demonstrate experience in writing and executing strategies, scenarios, and test cases;
  • Be organized, rigorous and have an excellent sense of responsibility;

This position requires working primarily in French, while requiring a functional command of English for daily tasks. This English proficiency is essential to understand documentation and ensure professional communication with customers, suppliers and colleagues across Canada.
