Lead food safety and supplier assurance strategies for a dynamic international company. Drive risk-based decision-making and ensure compliance throughout a global supplier network.

The Director of Food Safety & Supplier Assurance will oversee critical programs that protect consumers and support supply chain integrity. As a senior authority, you will collaborate with departments like Procurement, Operations, and Executive Leadership to translate complex regulations into actionable business solutions.

Your role emphasizes strong technical judgment and relationship building across diverse stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and develop the Food Safety team for optimal performance

• Simplify procedures to champion operational excellence in quality and safety

• Develop compliance programs aligned with regulatory frameworks

• Build relationships with consumers, suppliers, and industry regulators

• Manage supplier approvals and monitor compliance programs

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science or Quality Assurance

• Minimum 10 years in food safety leadership roles

• Strong understanding of HACCP and supplier assurance

• Experience with Canadian and U.S. food regulations

• Proven track record of influencing cross-functional teams
