As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Quality Compliance Specialist to join our team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining and improving our quality management systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies.
Position Summary
The Quality Compliance Specialist is responsible for supporting and maintaining quality compliance initiatives across the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with HACCP, ISO 9001:2015, GMP, GFSI, and other applicable regulatory requirements.
Identify compliance gaps and partner with departments to establish and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
Monitor daily operations to ensure adherence to internal quality systems and industry standards.
Follow up on corrective actions and verify the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
Review, revise, and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, and quality manuals to align with current regulations and best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize quality processes and improve operational consistency.
Develop and deliver quality and compliance training programs for employees at all levels of the organization.
Prepare, maintain, and organize audit reports, quality documentation, and regulatory records.
Communicate quality requirements and compliance expectations effectively throughout the organization.
Stay informed of changes in regulations, standards, and industry requirements, ensuring organizational compliance.
Assess potential compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
Support continuous improvement initiatives designed to enhance product quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
College diploma in Science, Quality Assurance, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Compliance, Quality Assurance, or related role.
Experience with in a manufacturing environment is required; experience in the plastic, polymer, packaging, or flexible packaging industries is highly preferred.
Working knowledge of HACCP, ISO 9001:2015, GMP, and GFSI standards.
Relevant certifications in quality, food safety, or compliance are considered an asset.
Strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements and quality management systems.
Ability to interpret regulations and translate requirements into practical business processes.
Excellent auditing, inspection, and documentation skills.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
