This position focuses on applying your recent education in heritage conservation. Responsibilities include conducting treatments of collections, participating in innovative project developments, and documenting trends in conservation.
Your role will directly support museums, libraries, and archives through collaborative efforts and ethical practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute supervised conservation treatments on heritage objects
• Contribute to innovative conservation projects and methodologies
• Document conservation practices and research findings
• Facilitate basic training for clients on conservation principles
• Work collaboratively with heritage professionals across Canada
Requirements:
• Recent diploma in heritage conservation or related field
• Experience with paper-based conservation methods
• Strong writing skills for report and article development
• Ability to work in a team setting and engage with clients
• Flexibility for travel and off-site work
