Join the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute as a Clinical Research Assistant II, utilizing your skills in clinical trials and research ethics. This full-time position plays an essential role in neuromuscular disease studies.
As part of the Neuromuscular Research Centre, you will coordinate all phases of clinical trials and ensure effective communication and compliance with research protocols.
Your role focuses on participant recruitment, data collection, and supporting patients facing neuromuscular challenges. The ideal candidate will have both effective communication abilities and exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate research ethics board applications and changes
• Design study budgets, ensuring all aspects are covered
• Recruit and screen participants for trials
• Manage clinical trial visits and assessments
• Accurately collect and input data into databases
Requirements:
• Health science bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Minimum one year of clinical research experience
• Proficiency in French and English communication
• Detail-oriented mindset for data accuracy
• Certification in relevant clinical research guidelines
