About the Role
At Nomic, we’re building the world’s highest throughput protein profiling platform to help scientists extend lives. As an Associate on our Profiling Development team, you’ll play a hands‑on role in developing, validating, deploying, and continuously improving our high‑throughput workflows that power proteomic discovery ’ll work at the interface of biology, engineering, and data — collaborating with teammates in Automation, Data, Software, and Operations.
Your work will directly contribute to building robust, reproducible processes that enable faster and more reliable insights into biology.
Plan, Execute and Validate Profiling Workflows – Independently execute profiling experiments to support the validation of new workflows and protocol updates. With guidance, you’ll develop detailed experimental plans, coordinate execution needs, and generate high-quality, well‑documented data.
Contribute to Development Projects and Continuous Improvement – Support development and troubleshooting efforts by analyzing and interpreting experimental results using established metrics and criteria. You’ll contribute to root cause investigations and experimental follow‑up to improve workflow performance, data quality, and robustness.
Support Deployment and Change Control – Contribute to the deployment of new and updated workflows by supporting pilot runs, updating SOPs and technical documentation, and participating in change control processes. You’ll work with Scientists and cross‑functional partners to help ensure changes are implemented consistently and successfully.
Support Lab Operations and Team Development – Contribute to effective day‑to‑day lab operations, including reagent preparation, instrument readiness, and experimental coordination.

Nomic was founded to make biology easier to measure—and to enable scientists to extend lives by making proteomics accessible, scalable, and routine. Our story began at McGill University, where our co‑founders and early team developed breakthrough technology that would change the way proteins are measured.
Today, Nomic is powered by our proprietary nELISA® platform—an end‑to‑end technology that delivers high‑throughput, quantitative, and affordable protein data at unprecedented scale. With the launch of Omni 1000, we are making the $50 proteome a reality, breaking down barriers that have limited the field for decades. For the first time, large‑scale, quantitative proteomics is accessible to any scientist, supporting everything from drug discovery and translational research to AI‑enabled therapeutic development.
Since our launch, we’ve…
