Make impactful contributions to health research as a Research Assistant at the Montreal Clinical Research Institute. Engage in innovative projects focused on noncoding RNA and RNA-based therapeutics.
Under Dr. Martin Sauvageau, you will join the Noncoding RNA Biology & Therapeutics Unit. This role leverages a Master's degree in Molecular Biology or Biochemistry to drive critical research, emphasizing hands-on lab activities and scientific accuracy. You will be involved in experimentation with mammalian cell cultures, molecular biology techniques, and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct experiments with mammalian cell culture and transfections
• Manage RNA and protein extraction and biochemical assays
• Analyze experimental data and maintain accurate records
• Prepare scientific documents and support lab operations
• Ensure compliance with laboratory standards and protocols
Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Molecular Biology or similar
• Minimum 3 years of laboratory experience
• Expertise in RNA sequencing and molecular techniques
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
