Reporting into the Security Supervisor, the incumbent will be responsible for providing security on the work site.
What you'll be responsible for:
Controlling the entrances and exits (visitors, employees, customers)Locking and unlocking doorsPatrolling, on foot or by vehicle, buildings and yardProtecting evidence in the event of a crimeProtecting the scene of an incidentResponding to fires, medical emergencies, bomb threats, floods, water leaks, hazardous materialsWriting reports and logsPreventing CrimeCarrying out searches when in doubtPerforming all other related tasksQualifications

You are available to work varied shifts, day/evening/night and possible weekendsYou have a high school diplomaYou have a valid security guard license issued by the Private Security BureauYou have a valid first aid certificationYou have a valid driver’s licence, class 5You are bilingual, French and EnglishYou have a clean criminal recordYou have the ability to cope with stressful situations, in a calm and rational mannerYou have excellent judgment, observation and communication skills
