Bilingual Shift Supervisor - Night shift
Responsibilities
Perform the duties of a Security Guard in accord with post orders and company policy.
Provide lead direction at assigned client site(s) on assigned shift(s); act to ensure that post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that adequate reports are filed; notify proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
Counsel and discipline personnel as appropriate; seek advice from company management or designated representatives; meet personally with employees and document counseling and disciplinary actions.
Assist in the training of Security Guards and review of post orders.
Assist in the submission of payroll and personnel information to the company as designated.
Work in conjunction with company management or designated company representatives to ensure adequate security coverage of all posts.
Prepare, file and submit various reports as required.
Meet with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.
Qualifications
Must be Bilingual (English and French).
Must be able to obtain a Secret Security Clearance (Canadian citizenship and a minimum of 10 years residency in Canada are required).
Ability to work night shifts, with shift duration of 8–12 hours.
Have a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
Have a minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.
Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.
Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance.
Ability to track and maintain schedule assignments.
Understanding of a variety of security and safety devices and controls.
Ability to adapt to changes in the external environment and organization.
Compensation: $24 per hour.
Shift
Schedule:
Sunday - 1800 to 0600, Saturday - 1800 to 0600, Monday - 1800 to 0600, Tuesday - 1800 to 0600 & Wednesday – 1800 to 0000.
