Hybrid Senior Network Security Specialist

Join our Ottawa team as a Senior Network Security Specialist. In this hybrid role, you'll tackle complex network security challenges while helping to ensure network integrity and security enhancements.

This two-year, full-time position involves 37.5 hours per week with eight on-site days each month. The ideal candidate brings at least five years of recent experience in enterprise network operations and security. You will resolve security issues, mitigate risks, and implement automation for continuous improvements in network security controls.

Key Responsibilities:

• Resolve complex network security issues in real-time

• Mitigate risks and vulnerabilities across network operations

• Support deployment and disaster recovery testing efforts

• Respond to security events and implement necessary upgrades

• Automate processes for continuous improvement of security controls

Requirements:

• University degree or college diploma in technical field

• Minimum five years of network operations and security experience

• Expertise in Cisco platforms and Check Point firewalls

• Experience with CI/CD and Service Now

• Must hold Secret security clearance
