Step into the position of Shift Lead Security at Hard Rock Ottawa Hotel & Casino. In this part-time role, you’ll oversee security operations while participating in active duty to ensure everyone’s safety.

This unique position requires both supervisory insight and practical security execution. You will lead your team, interact with guests to ensure compliance with gaming regulations, and handle emergencies effectively. Your aim will be to foster a safe and welcoming environment for all guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee security operations ensuring guest safety

• Provide first aid and medical assistance when needed

• Develop and mentor security team members

• Prepare detailed reports of incidents accurately

• Patrol casino areas monitoring for security breaches

Requirements:

• Diploma in Law and Security or related qualification

• Essential First Aid and CPR certifications

• One year or more in security or gaming-related roles

• Ability to maintain AGCO/Casino licensing and Smart Serve

• Availability for flexible working hours, including holidays
