Join Green Infrastructure Partners as an Indigenous Engagement Specialist, where your focus on respectful engagement will enhance the Alexandra Bridge Project. This role emphasizes building relationships with Indigenous communities while ensuring compliance and accountability.
You will lead community engagement efforts, support social performance metrics, and manage audits to address potential social risks. With a commitment to effective communication and collaboration, you will help integrate Indigenous values and needs throughout the project lifecycle, enhancing stakeholder engagement and social outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver community engagement and outreach initiatives
• Maintain databases for social performance and stakeholder interactions
• Develop strategies for social impact assessments
• Advise on client socioeconomic commitments and best practices
• Create regulatory engagement documents in collaboration with teams
Requirements:
• Degree related to communications or policy
• Analytical experience in community engagement
• Leading major infrastructure projects essential
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
• Flexibility for travel as needed
