The Batshaw Youth and Family Centres, located in Westmount, are seeking Psycho educators for full-time permanent and temporary positions within the Evaluation and Orientation (EO) Service for Youth Protection (DPJ) reports.

This position represents a unique opportunity to highlight psycho educational expertise within an interdisciplinary team. The psychoeducator will contribute a distinct analytical perspective and clinical approach rooted in their training, enriching existing interventions while performing functions similar to those of criminologists and social workers.
Your day-to-day mission:
Assess reports when a child’s safety or development is compromised;
Analyze protection situations and the needs of children and their families;
Intervene with children and families from diverse communities;
Actively contribute to clinical decision-making within a multidisciplinary team;
Participate in the development of the next generation of psychoeducators within the E&O service.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The ideal candidate :
Member of the OPPQ;
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience;
Excellent analytical skills, clinical leadership, and autonomy;
Bilingual in English and French;
Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
